Et tu, Podo?

Jennifer and Ron gave me a delightful bust of Caesar for my birthday in February. While it is among the most bizarre presents I've ever received, I think it's absolutely awesome. I guess it's just assumed that because I'm weird, I'll like weird things... and it's true!

He's really fun to have around. He's always the topic of conversation whenever anyone comes over. He's not much for talking though... he just listens! LOL! Sometimes he freaks me out at night because all I see is his shadow as I walk through the dark house. I hope I don't attack him by mistake.

Anyway, I typically keep a watchful eye over my ferrets when I let them roam freely throughout the house. They can cause so much chaos and destruction in a matter of minutes. They are masters of thievery and mischief. I know this. They cannot be trusted!

I fell asleep on the sofa while watching a movie (Big Trouble in Little China)... and they were out and about. When I awoke, I found that two of them were trying to destroy my Caesar head! I didn't they were capable of reaching him... he sits on a pillar about four feet off the ground. I don't know how they managed to climb it.

Luckily, I got to the statue before they could over-throw him, so to speak. The ferrets have been safely apprehended and placed behind bars (or their cage) for their failed assassination attempt!
