Strange Movie

I went to go see Slither late last night with Josh down at the Gateway Theater. To be honest, I still don’t know what to think about that movie. The only real reason either of us wanted to see the movie was because Nathan Fillion was in it, as we’re both huge fans!

Anyway, the movie was just bizarre! It very much reminded me of Shaun of the Dead, though the language was much more hardcore in this movie... made it pretty damn funny! It was just plain weird too! Overall I really enjoyed it, although I don’t know whether I’d really recommend it. I feel it’s just too weird for the mainstream. It was one of the strangest movies I’ve seen in quite some time!

So after the movie ended, and we made our way out of the theater through the main lobby which was completely dead! The lights were off, and there wasn’t a single person there. The theater was completely empty! It looked as if they had already closed the place down for the night but forgot that we were still in there watching the weird movie. It was like something from out of the Twilight Zone! It was so odd… just an added bonus to the incredibly weird movie we had just experienced!
