Colbert At White House Correspondents' Dinner

The White House Correspondents' Association is an organization of journalists who cover the President of the United States and works with the presidential administration on issues regarding coverage and logistics. The WHCA's annual dinner, begun in 1920, has become a Washington DC tradition and is usually attended by the President and Vice President.

The last WHCA's annual dinner on April 29th was absolutely hysterical with special guest speaker Steven Colbert. I highly recommend watching it! You won’t be disappointed with his extremely ballzy yet ultimately hilarious performance.

Luckily my humor isn't based on what others think. I happen to think that most people with an open mind are probably the same way too. But for those who need to be told what is truly funny, there are countless places to look...

• A grateful nation gives thanks at Thank You Stephen Colbert.org
• Mark Morford says Colbert has giant brass cajones
• Firedoglake celebrates Colbert's triumph of truthiness
• Newshounds marvels at Colbert's heroics
• The Moderate Voice has a roundup of reaction elsewhere in the blogosphere
Gawker Poll undisputedly heralds Colbert a Hero

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. And I'm saying that was absolutely hilarious!

I actually find him kind of annoying, but that may just be the "character" he's playing

He's like a George Constanza... he's funny because he can be very irritating!
